Blank Code & Observe return to celebrate our 20th year hosting official Movement Fest after-parties. From the abandoned and dilapidated spaces like the Broderick Tower skyrise, muddy warehouses, galleries in the inner-city, infamously packed nights at The Works, and now home at Leland City Club…. We have consistently introduced new artists and showcased many first U.S. appearances.
We are thrilled now to unveil our complete lineup which features a diverse group of artists who have significantly shaped the culture and art form we’ve long cherished. Whether it be laying the foundations of our core musical landscape or in pushing the known boundaries into new territory for future generations, these artists play a crucial role.
This year, we respectfull remember the passing of Juan Mendez, known as the legendary Silent Servant. He was a pivotal North American artist who, alongside Regis & Function, majorly shaped the resurgence of techno with the creation and output of the infamous Sandwell District collective.
In tribute to his enduring legacy, we are honored to host a Sandwell District reunion right here in Detroit alongside a rich lineup of both established OG’s and fresh faces cutting new paths. Join us for what already is shaping to be one of our finest nights of the past two decades.
